Alexander County 4-H Clubs are now enrolling new members into their 4-H Clubs for the 2012-13 School year.  4-H membership is open to boys and girls ages 5-18.  Below is a list of 4-H clubs in your community.

Community 4-H CLUBS

 

Alexander County 4-H Livestock Club

  • Meeting Date & Time:  First Mondays at 7:00 p.m.
  • Meeting Location:  NC Cooperative Extension Office- Taylorsville
  • Do you have available spaces for new members?  yes
  • Club Focus: Livestock education (rabbits, beef, dairy, goats, sheep), community service and science.

 Cornerstone Clovers 4-H Club

  • Meeting Date & Time: Third Monday of every month from 7-8 pm
  • Meeting Location: NC Cooperative Extension Office- Taylorsville

  • Club Focus:  Crafts, Community Service and educational activities/presentations from outside guests.

Curious Clovers 4-H Club

  • Meeting Date & Time: 3rd Tuesday of the Month Sept-May @ 1:00 p.m.
  • Meeting Location: Homes of members and other locations
  • Do you have available spaces for new members? Currently taking a waiting list
  • Club Focus: Fieldtrips and projects that creates a curiosity of our 4H members.  This is a home school 4-H club that has both girls and boys in mind.

 Handy Dandy 4-H Club

  • Meeting Date & Time: 1st Tuesday in the month at 10am
  • Meeting locations: change from month to month depending on the topic
