Effective Monday, March 31, 2020, at 5 p.m. Gov. Roy Cooper has issued a Stay at Home Order for North Carolina. Luckily the N.C. Agriculture Commissioner, Steve Troxler, already has been working on documents that will need to be in possession of those traveling for your farm and/or business to comply with requirements. Below is the letter, please fill these out for each employee and yourself that may be traveling to your business to work or traveling for your business:
Also, below is a letter from NCDA&CS sent on March 25, 2020, to the five largest law enforcement associations in North Carolina to provide notice about essential employees in the agriculture industry of North Carolina. We are sharing here so our farm and agribusiness contacts can have a copy for their records.
