Have your blueberry bushes been a little sparse the past couple of years? Have you every thought of pruning them but don’t know how? Well, look no further than this great hands-on experience hosted by the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Alexander County Center and Campbells Blueberry Farm!

This on-farm session is FREE and Open to the Public!

This event will entail a discussion and hands-on pruning demonstration for different age blueberry plants. Proper pruning at planting, followed by pruning techniques on young bushes, then on older bushes will be discussed and performed. Other blueberry management practices will be discussed in detail. Don’t miss this local opportunity to see, hear and learn from the most tenured and knowledgeable blueberry specialist in our multi-state area!

When: February 2nd, 2024 @ 1-4 p.m.

Where: Campbells Berry Farm (27 Tracy Bolick Lane, Hickory NC)

*Participants are asked to dress appropriately and bring their own pruning shears, water, and gloves (if needed).
