Mud Management for Livestock Farms

— Written By

We have had unprecedented amounts of rainfall the last three winters, and this has led to significant mud problems across the state. A webinar will be held on April 6, 2021, at 7 p.m. to discuss Mud Management. The program will include an introduction to the issue, information on how to clean up and renovate impacted areas in the spring, how to design better winter management systems to reduce mud problems, and cost-share opportunities to implement mud management practices.

The program is brought to you by the Animal Agriculture Program Team, Amazing Grazing and the NC Cattlemen’s Association. If you would like more information please contact the N.C. Cooperative Extension-Alexander County Center at 828-632-4451 or email Allison Brown at allison_brown@ncsu.edu.
