Snack Attack – June 7
Ages: 5-8 years old Time: 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Cost: $15.00 What better way to satisfy your young reader curiosity than combining food and literature? Cooking can help our young clover buds learn about math, science, art, and so much more. Combining food snacks with one of their favorite books reinforce the importance of reading all the while developing lasting life. Our young participants will be able to enjoy several stories focusing on foods and will conclude each story by making their own snacks from the story. Join us as we navigate the literature world and bring these tasty snacks to life. Limit: 8 participants Location: Alexander 4-H Center
Rocky Face Hiking Adventures (1) – June 8
Ages: 8-12 years old Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 Join us for a fun outdoor-themed day at Rocky Face Park. We will start the day with a nature walk on the trails, looking at plants and wildlife followed by some time with the local park rangers learning more about the park and the wildlife it holds. We will also be doing a nature-themed craft. Participants must wear closed toes shoes suitable for hiking and bring packed lunch. Limit: 10 participants Location: Rocky Face Park

Ages: 8-12 years old Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Anita-Alta Family Day – June 12
Ages: 5-18 years old Time: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 Join a day of family fun at Anita Alta. This event is for youth and parents. There will be a variety of outdoor activities available to families with youth ages 5-18 years old. Parents will supervise their children at all times during this event. For more on this event please go to the Eventbrite event page.
Fishing Adventures – June 15
Ages: 8-14 years old Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 Join us for a day of fishing at Ellendale pond. We will learn how to fish, techniques to use, how to ID what you catch, and much more. We will also learn about water safety and the Japanese art of gyotaku printing. Participants will need to bring a lunch. Limit: 18 participants. Location: Ellendale Pond
Mad Scientist – July 15
Ages: 5-8 years old Time: 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Cost: $15.00 Join us for a day of crazy and fun science experiments. We will dive into the world of science in many forms, food science, robotics, chemistry, and more. All experiments will be fun, safe, and age-appropriate. Participants must bring a packed lunch. Limit: 8 participants Location: Alexander 4-H Center
Geology Rocks!! – July 21
Ages: 8-12 years old Time: 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Cost: $25.00 We will enjoy their full experience learning about gemstones while we actively look for them. We will use the sluice box, tour the dig sight and look in the creek. Participants must bring a packed lunch as well as water shoes and clothes. Limit: 12 participants Location: Emerald Hollow Mines
Transportation for local camps will NOT be available. Parents will drop participants off at the location for the day.
A 50% deposit will be required at the time of registration. There will be no refund unless space is filled.
