Josh Allen, local produce buyer at FreshPoint, invites growers to visit the warehouse
in Charlotte to meet face-to-face and learn about FP’s desire to partner with growers.
Growers will have time to talk in group and individual settings with staff and tour the
warehouse. Josh will also talk about FreshPoint’s “Unusual but Usable” program
which buys and markets seconds.
This information session is ideal for growers who have the following:
1) GAP certification OR willingness to obtain GAP certification
2) $1 million in general liability insurance
3) The ability to transport product to the Charlotte warehouse
